    finished off the grinding on my wings so my facelift lights fit properly, changed the bulbs to some supposedly 100% brighter H7's ,and swapped the the one rear wheel over for the spare tyre as it had a split in the wall, looks like its a trip to the tyre shop in the week so ill swap the 2...

    odd it did it this morning on my way to work and now it hasnt done it at all today, after i filled up and put BP petrol in, now last week i got my petrol in Asda as I was, passing so I wonder if the quality of Asda's fuel isnt that good or its just a total coincidence

    the temp gauge is going up to the 90 mark after 15 minutes driving as it has done since, i replaced the temp sender with a genuine audi one, about 4 weeks ago

    looks better with the FL lights in just need to trim a tiny bit more off the passenger side wing as the light doesnt sit quite flush and, the light is far better in the dark than the old lights which had the H4 bulbs in them

    well thats the facelift headlamps fitted :) really tidied the front up and they was far easier ,to fit than some of guides make out aswell didnt even have to take the bumper off , removed the indicator lenses, and got to the third bolt that way :) used a dremel with a cutting disc to...

    just spent another few hours tinkering, and now have facelift headlights :) was far easier to do than some of the online guides reckon it is with taking bumpers off and such like

    been busy today had the blowing exhaust downpipe fixed by the chap who fixes our wagons at work by welding a new flexi section in so saved me loads of dosh for now:) swapped the indicator repeaters over to clear ones changed the one wheel over to the spare as it was getting a bit low on tread

    cheers for that I guess someone at sometime had messed with it , and kwikfit was going to con me by paying over the odds for a standard downpipe and cat looks like a trawl round ebay for the correct parts is in order

    My 1.8 non turbo SE has the selfdimming RVM and thats suffering from the liquid fault aswell, but as i can still see out of im not,tempted to take it out and fit the normal one that came in the pile of spares i was given,

    cheers mate, going to let it settle for a few days and see where it sits, at the moment its sitting 65mm from the bottom of the thread on the shock bodies might take it back up another 10/15 mm then to be on the safe side
