    Ok so I tinkered with the wiring at the imob unit and noticed one seemed more loose than the other so I nipped them a bit tighter so far so good this seems to have made a difference. Worth trying. Might have saved me a small fortune in diagnostic and repair.

    I have no codes showing on other systems, but can't get vcds to work on my laptop so can't test that.

    When I try to start the car it will fire up then cut out within 2 Seconds it might do this 3-5 times each time the imobiliser light flashes rather than going out. Other times the immobilser light goes out and the car starts no problem.

    I have a problem with my imobiliser on my 1997 a4 1.9tdi has anyone defeated this can anyone do it in the co durham area? And how much? Cheers
