Sorted out my headlights using the 3M restoration kit. 5x better now. Forgot to take the before/after photos though!

Was hoping it was something as simple as the DV. I'll change that and then if the problems continue look into the cam sensor. I've had a quick search for the standard DV and some people say it struggles with a mapped car... Would a brand new 007p be the next best option?
