I had the same issue a month ago. The real fix is to remove the inner trim and get the lock unit out. Remove the plastic cover to expose two small DC motors inside. One of them moves the lock to the locked position, the other one unlocks it. Take the motors out and try connecting them to a 12V...
Check out RSNav units, they come in different sizes and seem to be actively developed and well integrated with the car. There are long threads discussing them on Audizine, not sure if I can link those here.
I wish I could get one myself, but MMI 2G is unsupported.
After ruining the hub carrier on one side due to the seized pinch bolt, I can personally recommend this piece of hardware:

Works with an air chisel and managed to push out the other bolt absolutely effortlessly. I think the fast repeated striking of...
I have a ProVent 200 clone with a washable filter. It doesn't seem to fit anywhere where it would be accessible from the top. But it can be drained from the bottom, so I'll play around and see if it can be tucked somewhere near the bottom.
Looks like ADD W1 has 15 mm barbs, I was hoping to use...
Nice find and a great write-up. I bought a copy of the Mann-Hummel provent on eBay a while ago with the hope to find a place to mount it, but everything is so tight, there's no way it can fit anywhere. Even the space behind the bumper is taken by the auxiliary heater. Looks like yours is a nice...

You can get oil temp display on older cars by reflashing the instrument cluster with the latest firmware. I have done that on my 2008 Audi A4 3.0 TDI.
You need a VAS5054 adapter and I used VAS PC software, but you can also use ODIS Engineering.
Karl has performed extensive research about manual gearbox engine oil in his thread:

Automatic will probably use different oil, though.
Great build thread Bobby, inspires me to start working on my 3.0 TDI CAPA which has been stock for 3 years already.
Some questions (I'm familiar with ECU tuning, but I have only worked on petrol cars before):
