Hi if you can smell it, i would guess it an external leak so most likey loose / broken hose and evaporation off the hot engine

Yes Exhaust Gas Recirulation its water cooled i think it has small pipes in side which can develope leaks

Hi thanks once you have fitted the stalk is the wiring all ready there or do you need a wring loom isthen do yo need some one with the VCD sofware to enable CC on the software side cheers

Hi good point i have a 1 year extra warrantry from the dealer (but they will have the normal get out) i will take it in to check they do not seem to know aout software upgrades to the gearbox it as a euc (computer) wish i had gone for the skoda vrs not impressed with audi at all

Hi have just purchased a 58 plate 2.7TDI with multitronic box would this gear box handle a remap say from bluefin power up by 36 BHP & torque 60 i presume that the v6 would be handle that with no problem has anybody done this is it worth it cheers
