cant find the temp sender? checked the haynes manual and said its at the back of the block but i cant see anything that looks like a temp sender there can any one point me in the right direction or show me a photo as i'd rather do it myself than take it to a garage.
should the temperature gauge stay at 90oc when up to temperature as my gauge never used to read anything so put it down to a dodgy thermastat, just had a cambelt service and had a new water pump and thermastat fitted at the same time. when the car got up to temperature the gauge went up to 90oc...
mine did this just before the mot had to take the bulb out and dry it out with a hairdryer from the back.just been careful when washing around the headlights since and been ok since.
euro car parts have stopped selling them now as went to get some for mine.main dealer lists the fronts at £33.87 +vat and the rears at £22.70 +vat someone always lists them on ebay £24.50 each + £4.50 p+p if anyone else knows where else you can get them would be interested myself
i was thinking the top strut mount or replaceing the whole anti roll bar as the knocking is comeing from the drivers side and all the suspension arms have been done now.suspension is still all standard and the car has done 142k
well my abs sensor turned up so i thought right i'll get a front lower arm aswell as its the only one left to do and get stuck in yet again.sorted the sensor replaced the arm and the ball joint had seen better days, took the car for a spin and IT STILL KNOCKS ON UNEVEN ROADS!!!!!!checked to see...
i fitted a hid kit well impressed, had no trouble on the mot even asked him if it would fail with them and said no not a problem as long as the beam did not dazzle!!as for sidelight bulbs i'd recommend piaa bulbs as i found the led bulbs like you can get from halfrauds to be crap!!
changed the arb droplinks hopeing that was the problem.all upper arms and the lower rear arms have been changed now so it can only be the front lower arm now [i hope]everything is tight been checked and checked again.should of just changed the lot in one go but funds were tight so just changed...
i find poorboys stuff excellent value and easy to use with very good results.been useing some of the products for a while.the wax lasts a lot longer than the meguiers wax and is alot quicker to apply and remove.
all parts so far have been lemforder and the next one will be as well.it is knocking more now than it was before i replaced any of the arms sounds like a bad tesco shopping trolly driving down an uneven road!!!
