Friend if mine has one and apart from being very juicy and costing a small fortune in road tax, he loves it and is already planning an RS6. Apparently the seats are not great if you are a big fella, apart from that he says its pretty much the perfect car.

Whats the deal with them? They never seem to work! I presume, headlights on and use the windscreen washers is the way to activate them?

Try unplugging the MAF, clearing the codes and going for a drive. Then do a scan and see what the results are.
