I had a Revo remap on my 14 plate A5 3.0 TDI took me to 275 bhp, when booting it off roundabout or anywhere really with a rolling start the revs shoot up and traction control lights flash up but doesn't pull off for few seconds. Anyone had this issue after remap on a quattro?

Well looks like I will be adding ghost to my list of things to do to car along with remap and ceramic coating. Think ghost will be the 1st thing done after this convo

It's so wrong that we gotta spend so much money to protect the things we work hard for!! My car is parked on a street when home and when I work away so definitely going to need all additional security measures. Thanks for advice.

Reading this thread has got me worried, really gutted for the guys who's cars have been stolen. I've only had my A5 for a month and it's my pride and joy, would be devastated if it wasn't there one morning. I havnt got no extra security on it cause thought a top of the range car would be secure...

Does a remap cause any issues after a period of time and would the gearbox need doing Aswel? Thanks

Hi I've just bought A5 3.0 TDI 2014 model. I'm planning to keep for good few years as only got 28k on clock and I love it, been thinking bout remapping but don't know if there would be much benefit to it or risks involved. Any advice much appreciated
