That’s not a dog guard. It’s a net divider to stop your load sliding forward when braking if stacked high. You can buy an optionally metal dog grille/guard to replace that about £100 from memory if required

I got a cordless Bosch leaf blower without battery & charger & use the battery from my drill. Checking first that batteries were compatible.

That looks good what colour Hexlogic pad did you use?

The safe way is to do test areas using the least aggressive pad/polish combination. Machine polish then inspect if there is no cut then try the next aggressive pad & try again until you find the correct combination. Working up to some tape then peeling off helps to see the difference. Good luck

I’ve had a Nilfisk for several years now & wouldn’t go back to Karcher as I found them unreliable. When rinsing of the snow foam I keep the lance at an angle to the bodywork so to blast off & not into the paint work.

I would start with a wash with a strong solutions of your normal car shampoo followed by tar & glue remover & then fall out remover, not sure if T&G first or second? Then clay bar & finally another wash. At this point you could polish, if you purchase a Daspro or similar or go the black hole...

You could try SC Motor factors at Ruxley you get a fresher battery from a wholesaler that hasn’t been sitting on a shelf for so long. I think there prices are competitive.
