Thanks Tuffty, I've had the car about a year and a half and needs it a few bits done. I can't complain too much about it, 191k on the clock and it's given me less hassle than my 3series every day driver.
Thanks for your reply. I didn't get a chance to pick up the sump Friday, but I had a look at the sump myself earlier. It doesn't have an oil level sensor, but I did notice a plug that has a resistor in place. Would it be possible that the sump was previously replaced with a sump without the oil...
Hi all, going to replace my sump over the weekend. Has anyone got the OE number for the oil sump, APY engine code and does it have an oil level sensor. I'd check myself, but my S3 is at home and I want to pick up a sump after work.

Hi Lads, rear view mirror fell off during the week but the metal fitting form the windscreen came with it. Has anybody a tip for removing the metal fitting form the mirror itself. Thanks
The upper part of the height adjuster wasn't retracting fully and rubbing on the belt. I just pulled the trim off on the right hand side(driver's belt) and I was able to push the adjuster up. The height adjuster isn't working but the belt is retracting perfectly and I haven't got the trim back...
How easy is it to remove the b pillar trim, the height adjustment on my drivers seat belt is sticking and the belt is very slow to retract. So the plan is to take off the trim and have a look.
Thanks for your reply Karl, how do I check if the valve will seal and will I have to remove it from the car to check it, I take I just remove the three hoses and hose clips if it needs to be removed.
I was checking the fluids in my car yesterday and noticed the vacuum line on top of the forge dv was split. It was just sitting on top of the valve. I trimmed the hose and reconnected it, the car is running fine but seems to be down on power. The push from the turbo seems to be missing, still...
