All of XC parts need modifying, can't fault them because it does say in their description - just a shame that I had to spend quite a bit more in order to "fit". You'd be better off with getting a genuine RS3 spoiler/entire tail gate.

I just don't get how the fudge it came up? I've had the car for 2 years and after yesterdays certain rain it's all over the driver side and not the passenger side of the car lol. Going to see a bodyshop soon though and find out what it is, will keep it posted on here.

Get the battery tested for sure to see if it's powerful enough. Always the first thing to check too. But as it gets colder, diesels take a few more cranks anyway.

I'd disconnect the battery just to avoid any issues, only two screws to loosen anyway.

Most likely the water pump is leaking. My A3 seemed fine but had occasions where the coolant seemed fine and then some where it drank a lot. Couldn't see any signs until I changed the timing belt, then the mechanic showed me how around the area was pretty much pink stained due to a leaking...
