Yeah true, but to be honest I don't really fancy stripping it all down etc and I will lose the option to take it back once I dismantle the new one. I'm taking it back, will see if they have something that matches in stock but if not its off to the stealers.

Yep, I doubt this would be cost effective for me. I might have considered it 8 years ago when I bought the car, had I known.

Anyone know how would I find out who looks after this if I wanted to register or activate it? Otherwise was considering disconnecting and removing it... though am a bit worried that might immobilise the car!

Removed my dash earlier and found this metal box sat behind, not attached in any way, just sitting there loose with some wires going to it from the loom. When I typed the numbers into google, the only references I get are to a tracker device of some kind. Anyone know better? Never had any...

Changed the disc and pads on one of the rears earlier and noticed brake fluid leaking from the hose where it connects to the brake line. It seems I may have bent the connection point (the bit the hose connects to, don't know the correct term) during winding the piston back as it was exceedingly...

Hmm, mine is APY. Pads apparently 90% warn and yet no warning on the DIS... but guess I better check afterall.
