For 5F
For 09
Thanks for all the input. I am so busy on work until now. I probably will install those on Wed, and specially thanks for the instruction on the pinout.
In order to control via MMI you need to code the 09 and 5F module with adaptation.
Here are those 'channel' that need to be...
Stupid question... I did try to find my module beside steering column but found nothing
Or is that on the LEFT HAND SIDE same as LHD model? or Audi did mirror it to the 'DRIVER' side (RHD for us as well?)
I just find a soldering iron to melt the tab back together.
For the wiring the ideal is to connect to its delicated pin so it can be controlled by mmi
Second choice will be parallel to foot light so it can also controlled by mmi
Last choice is to the cigarette lighter ring.
I will do the...
Everyone is referring to this diagram (Sorry it's not in English for my version)
The problem on my version is super 'blur' on the wording.
Left 3 wires are the +12 for the cup holder light. (for different car config)
There are three different pins for
1. Xenon equipped cars
2. Halogen equipped...
SPENT 45 minutes to remove 10 of those fused tab and replace the cup holder led ring.
Only takes 5 minutes to fuse them back together though...
Will do the wiring this weekend, and hope everything alright. (Need to find out the correct wiring first)
I have a chance to read through a A3 8V SSP and find out they actually listed
IF the car has no light package or 'Remote Child Safety Lock' (it's a translation as the manual I read is not in English) or Rear door has not equiped with the central lock switch; the J388 and J389 module will not be...
It's better to have Elsawin to check the wiring diagram to confirm
But according to my source it should be J519 T73C plug, pin 3 (if you have Halogen headlamp) or pin63 or 53 (for Xenon, and that's the worst part as my copy of wiring diagram can't read clearly)
The J519 on MQB A3 (our A3) should be same as the Golf mk7 one, which has a 73 pin , 39pin and another 'many pins' connector. You sure there is a T10a there?
I read the instruction from my local supplier, it is pin 3 on the 73 pin connector... footwell light is pin 72
Page 2 from my previous reply, the light should wire to the door module 16 pin plug (if you have the module)
pin 12 will supply the +12 power if the door is opened (and if enabled by coding)
