After having 7 Bmw coupes in the last 4.5 years and with a new family member in toe "Stanley our English Bulldog" decided it would be more practical to go back to an Estate car.
After looking at a few Audis I pulled the trigger on this 59 plate S line, after a 400 mile round trip to collect and arriving back home too late to take a pic this is how it looked next morning

Gave it a quick wash to see what state the paint was in and it wasn't too bad

Our Stanley was not too sure about it

1st job was to get some wheels ordered and went for 9x20" rota s Et35

Got them wrapped in255/30/20 Pirelli rubber

Here's a few shots

Sitting like a 4x4 so ordered some Eibach sportlines from Germany, whilst I was waiting for them to arrive did full service and cleaned all the engine bay this is what state it was in

All cleaned up

Went for a 45/35 drop

It needs to come down at the rear but still working on it I then wrapped the front grill and fitted an S line badge

Our Stanley don't seem too bothered for it

Did a full machine polish and it's starting to look how I want it

Wanted to tidy the caliper a up and added some Rota decals

Our Stanley telling me he is starting to like it but he says it needs the chrome wrapping

I struggled to wrapp the roof bars in one so left the inners for now and will do them again when I've got more time

Also finally got the rear sitting where I want it I've shaved the top rubber Spring mount

How it sits now just needs the rears spacing out a little, I've ordered some 10mm hubsentric spacers to play with, I'm thinking I need to get them to around 5.5mm But will update as I go all comments welcome

Nice work! Looking really good. Any more plans?

Spacers have arrived today so have given them t a mate to get them machined down, I'm on with modding the exhaust today but rain keeps stopping play, we also have a new edition to keep the A4 company

Great looking Avant

Stanley is awesome, looks like he approves of his new ride, love to see more pictures of him

we went for an avant to fit our new puppy in, albeit a 6 stone one

I'm seriously considering getting a English Bulldog as friend for troy, as there is a bloke who breeds them literally over the road from me and they just look great,

Thanks Troy looks ace how old is he bet he takes up all the boot

Spacers before (10mm) they don't even fit the rear hub I think the min for hubsentric on the rear is 12mm, I've had had them done to 6mm so the wheel still sits on the hub and there is still enough room for the wheels

Machined down to 6mm

Fitted

On another note the other half has just bought a TT to keep my A4 company
Funny thing is through all the Bmw s I've had she has owned a Mini Convertable and now I've gone A4 she now has a TT

Mine is now up on ramps trying to sort the Zort out will update tomorrow

Nice car.
I don't want to be picky, but Rota is a brand of wheels from Japan and those are called Rotor, from the way they look.
And Rota is not the manufacturer of them. More likely to be Ronal or Rial, possibly BBS in some cases.

Superb car looks spot on same rotor I had on Mine good concave...like the way you pushed the wheels out

Loving the look of this with the wheels and stance it's perfect!

Very nice car mate.

Cheers

Lovely car and so much done to it already. Looks great!

Thanks, On previous cars Ibe usually done a lot more to make them look better but was happy as soon as I changed the wheels

Not taking it as you been picky all input is is good, I know the Japan Rotas they do the Grid. I thought Audi call this style of wheel Rota I maybe wrong, the add says the are called rota so just went along with it,
Not sure who they are made by as they care copies

Thanks they are out to the max now I went to collect an industrial fridge yesterday and had a bit of rubbing coming over the back roads

Thanks buddy

The concave on them wheels is bang on, are they or or reps?
Thanks
They are reps, advertised as Rota TTRS deep concave

Be interested to see a video of the exhaust now you've cut all the stuff out.

Finally got the exhaust finished on Saturday morning, unfortunately my phone went flat didn't do many pictures but was left a bit baffled pardon the pun, so I've cut the top of the back box and gutted it then welded it back up, I also got some 60mm exhaust pipe to cut the middle box out, when I cut the middle out it was hollow? Nothing in there at all, the exhaust hasn't been split before so don't understand why it would even be there, anyway I carried on and cut it out as I'd started, here's the few pics I took

The exhaust bracket was corroded and the exhaust had come loose + side made it a lot easier to split

Buffed the exhaust tips

The exhaust note has changed very slightly and seems to rev more freely, I'm considering getting rid of the Dpf and egr next,

Nice Daz but you know we all want a video of it revving so we can hear it

Don't suppose you have a video or sound clip of the exhaust note? Considering doing this on my 2015 177ps Quattro a4 for bit more grunt.

Unfortunately no I never got a sound clip, although l liked the look of the car I wished I'd have gone for the 3.0 Quattro, and even though it wasn't even for sale I got talking to lad on a different site and he offered a top price for it, at 1st I thought he was joking but true enough, he bought it, I told him to join up on here but have not seen him as yet

Hey Mark yea it's right it's gone but you should know me by now never seem to keep a car for long, our Stanley prefers the TT because he can sit in the back and peep his head through the front seats, in the A4 he seemed to want to move around all the time and he hated it in the boot, I just used to let him sit in the front with his head out the window, but with a passenger be was in the back but couldn't peer through into the front,
He's a right character.
I've gone back to Bmw for now

Am I right in believing (correct me if I'm wrong) that you've put some sort of coating on your wheels? They look fantastic!

Where did you get the 20"s from, I'm thinking of doing the same, have genuine 19"s at the moment but want the more concave look!

Sorry for late replys there is no coating on the wheels just wax and sealent
I bought them on E bay but he seems to have stopped selling for some reason which is a shame as they were only £500 for the rims
