Cheers for the update Ollie. I think i'll get myself a silicon TIP before I attempt this job so that the hose is made to measure.
No probs, think my Autobahn TIP was only £60 ish, and is good quality.

Cheers pal.The DoctorGreat pictures OllieH, very clear now. Doesn't look like you were in a rush!
A few questions before I do the installation:
- What did you block off the various un-used pipes/connectors with?
- How do you drain the can? Even with the relay box removed, access to the bottom of the can looks pretty tight.
- Finally (!) don't you need any pipe clips on the various new connections, or will they be secure without?
Thanks again for the guide.
was already in line mate...... i just replaced the piping around it....... sure you could order one for an AUM A3 easily enough
id just nip to a local breakers mate...... nobodies gonna want that piece
True, all the one way valves seem to come with the vac pipe attached according to ETKA and are expensive to buy new, better to get one from a breakers yard for pennis than to spend £10+ for a whole pipe.
I still haven't managed to get mine fitted, work commitments getting in the way but as soon as I do fit it, I'll post some pics up too. I'm gonna attach my can to the battery box so it will look like the one in the link posted from the UKMKIV's forum.
Just ordered my Autobahn TIP and some 3mm and 4mm silicone piping. Just need to source some jubilee clips and 2 90 degree pipe bends and I'll be ready to fit.
Just re-read this entire thread again and it all makes crystal clear sense now.
If your wanting some 19mm 90 bends, then i got some off ebay, their spot on, only problem their blue and my silicone pipings red, lol.
I want black ones mate but the original link that Ollie posted above has expired and the same shop dont seem to stock them any more. I also need to get some jubalee clips which i might get on the day.

That must have took some time.....it's huge lol.
Has anyone who has fitted the OCC replaced the check valve in the pvc system with a new valve, if so where did you purchase it from?
I got rid of mine altogether matey. I think everyone else has aswell who has fitted this. You're on about the pcv non return valve which comes off the crankcase breather??
Sorry abit unclear, i meant has anyone used a new check valve to the brake servo or just used the one from pcv system? If they have replaced it with a new one where they get it from.
id guess the same too mate... that would all be related in my mind.......
TIP is easy......the can takes a lot longer than you think
