It's just secured with a big zip tie, but you have to take the boot panel out to get to it.

oh right.ive had a quick look and looks like i will have to remove the sub box to??..or taking the whole boot panel out i wont have to remove the sub?..

Bump!!....someone must of taken there pump out and either tested or fixed it hmmm???.

Like Andy said the best way in is by moving the boot trim out the way. If you remove the screws under the boot net fixings and remove the plastic trim around the lock mech. If i remember correctly there are 2 more screws inside the cubby hole where the pump lives. You should then be able to tug very hard on the trim around the pump and it should all unclip and pull away giving you more room to move.

What symptoms you got with the pump steve?

Well the central locking has stopped mate but i can still hear the pump working away in the boot when i open the car etc,so i reckon its the pump.Is there a way of testing the pump once i have got it out mate?

error I got was

01367 - Central Locking Pump Run Time Exceeded (Likely Leak)

Sounds loud and runs for a while

The usual thing that goes is the internals shear off and leave you needing a recon kit to fix it. When you get it out open it up and see if the motor cogs have packed in. You can buy the recon kits off ebay for quite cheap. If you dont fancy doing it yourself drop "olds_kool" a PM as he does reconditioned pumps and takes yours as a replacement for about £60.

lol how do I lock the car after I have removed it for a swap, don't have a garage :ninja:

Yep ive just removed my pump and i will open it up and have a look later.quiet an easy job really.

No pics mate but a quick guide.

1st thing i did was take out the boot floor. Then i removed three rope eyes, one to the left and the other two towards the bumper. You have to remove these two so you can take out the plastic strip which is held in by torx screws. This is the strip to the rear that goes over the boot lock.
Remove the cover to the sub etc and if you look up inside there is a plastic black screw which has to be removed.Push down the rear seats and there should be a rubber type of screw next to the seat lock hoop if you get me.once these have been removed you just need to give it a good pull!!...then just clip the cable tie on the pump and disconect the pipes and socket.

hope this helps,im not to good at explaning things.i should of taken some photos!.
