Having now owned the car 6 weeks and after finally having all the mechanical work done I've been able to make a start on trying to restore that 'new look' to it.

The interior's being tackled next and then I have to decide on either a wheel refurb or try and justify a new set of 18" RS6 rep's???

DAS6 DA machine polisher
Sonus 1 with Menz Power Finish
Sonus 3 with Menz Final Finish

Flash Carnauba Wax applied by hand.

Looks fantastic mate! I like the RS6 reps! Is your interior leather or cloth? Im wanting to do my interior so i'll keep a close eye on what you do and products you use! :) Good luck with the rest!

looks good m8 personally i would go for a refurb everyone seems to be putting rs6 wheels on now days

Looks spot on fella, well done! RS6 wheels look superb, big fan. Yes they're popular and common, but probably for a reason!

Yeah I decided on a refurb today and booked the car into a local bodyshop (owned by a friend of a friend) for a week on Monday. I couldn't complain at £35 a rim (2 day job) and I've been assured they'll look like new. I'll prob post some pics when they're done? I'm more of an OEM driver than a 'modder' anyway!

Very nice - some awesome flake-pop seen there.

Thanks... there's not much point having Pearlescent paint if you can't try and show it off a bit? The Flash Carnauba wax I use is fantastic and really enhances the flake pop but unfortunately it's been discontinued for some time now and I can't source anymore. I'm trying to make what I have left last as long as possible before moving onto some PoorBoys Black Hole and FK1000P.

Well I've now had the wheels refurbished and I've fitted new rubber all round (Kuhmo KU31's)... for £35 a rim I have to say I'm pretty chuffed with the finish.
