Saturday = Car day!

Hi All,

After neglecting my motor in regards to mods and being low ish on cash ive decided to fix a few things and do a few other lil bits on saturday. (finally getting some peace from the missus)

Stuff to fix:

change my window regulator
Headlight (plastic has come off inside)
Touch up pen on big stone chip on the side
reseal exhaust joins and tighten
Recable tie my ignition amplifier to my induction

Stuff to do:

Paint break calipers red
spray engine cover blue
spray grill surround black
buy new number plates and fit them

Dunno if ill be able to fit everything during daylight hours but has anyone got anything else in mind?

i might get some of that carbon wrap stuff for next week dunno if it would get here in time for saturday if i ordered it today.

Get plates off of ebay - much cheaper than anywhere else. I got a pair of plates for £8.25 delivered. Halfords want £10ish each.
 
damn straight been looking forward to it for ages but dont wanna forget anything incase i dont get a chance anytime soon :think:

Happy days, my car day was last Saturday, boy does it feel good!!!

Saturday used to be my car day. Now it's my Daughter day, along with Sunday.

Although I love her to bits, I miss 'car day'. :(

you will have to get her a meccano set to play with... my little girl loves me messing around the car and always asks to help , so she likes sorting my sockets out in the right place everyones a winner.....:rock:
 
cheers lads ill try and take lots of pics just for the sake of it. even though not alot is going to look much different itll just work hehe

gonna go scrappy and buy a headlight and parcel shelf (my car never came with one). my list is growing! lol :think:
 
Ahh saturday! I love doing things to my car on saturday. Cleaning, caressing, repairing. I think every saturday should be national car (and daughter) day! lol

LOL, mine loves doing exactly the same. It's because they are shiny. She especially likes it when I take her the half mile down a dirt track to the swings on the Mini Moto. 'Faster Daddy, Faster' is all I can hear....

She does know which spanner goes in which slot on the pouch as well, which is most useful....

Bank Holiday monday this weekend will be my first car day for along time now. That's if the missus doesn't steal the day and make me go shopping or some rubbish.
 
My Saturdays, turned from car day to missus day, to son day, so no more car day, unless its on a VERY rare occasion.
 
ill try and enjoy my car day for all those that cant. itll make it feel even more special :salute:

although looking at the weather im starting to get annoyed. rain apparently! arrgh
