Bit harsh considering you have tarted your a3 up with more "gash" CF wrap than you can shake a Saxo VTR at.

:asskicking:

as said before all coments welcome, i find the leds like marmite, you either love em or hate them. i personally think they look alright in the dark, its just when u get spooners fitting them wonky they look rubbish.
Next mod is the alloys, thinking 18" rs6 v2's. what you think?

its just a 1.8 non turbo. be nice to hve the turbo but id end up having a empty pocket from the insurance charge

Looks good mate but IMO in the third pic where the splitter wraps around the bumper it looks like the splitter sits lower than the bumper.
I like the colour.

I like the colour.

With the splitter mate, bit of a novice on fitting them so is the bit that wraps around ment to be more underneath the bumper then out like that?

Its entirely up to you mate at the end of the day, mine sweeps into the centre of the tyre more if that makes sense, just looks like you can see the road surface through the gap thats all.

dont worry mate no offence taken.

Im thinking of getting some 18" rs6 v2's, what you think? good or bad choice?

Lovely colour lad, looks very well looked after as well.

Not keen on LED aftermarket lights, but each to their own!

cheers for all the comments, glad you like progress so far

I didnt even notice the LED's until i read on! I guess if you took a pic in the dark then it would look better. I think the ones that look nasty are the crappy jobs. Aslong as you like it mate, then it's all good! How low did you go? Did you go down low, all the way to the flo'?haha sorry i couldnt resist!!

Car looks good. Just wanting to know how much is that lowered by and on what?
Ive got standard turbo 16" alloys and was looking to drop the car by 35 and put some spacers on it, i think it'l look mean.

The guy that fitted said that it was roughly 65-70mm it sits about 2 or 3 inches of the floor on the front, and the rear cant get any lower on my coilovers, bit of a shame as wanted to drop the behind a little more. Also because of the front splitter it makes it look lower.
This is the kit i've purchased little cheaper then the other sites and free delivery http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290361438045&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Proper Low then  i wouldnt get away with dropping it too much...................downsides of living in the country im afraid.
Thanks for the link, i take it the ride quality of these springs is pretty good then?i see a few people have got them on their car, as i live in the country (pothole heaven) i wouldnt want anything too hard.

This is my first car on coilovers and to be fair im not a fussy person on ride quality and it feels pretty good atm, looks good too

na looks well mate....im still not sure about the splitters on the A3 bumper if im honest, yours is the best ive seen though..... i fitted mine and cut into the conour of the lower bumer trim....so it blended in and doesnt bend down like most seem to, but each to their own.

other than that, car looks sparkling and spot on....NEEDS wheels tho ;)

Looks spot on mate.

Well done.

i agree with the needs wheels mate, these ones on it are pretty skank. Yeh i know what you mean about the splitter comment, i think i've done mine pretty poo but i think they look alright as from a front view it makes the bumper look a bit bigger and bit meaner, i think its just the side on view thats a bit cheeky

But thanks for the comments guys and gals

I love those rims! Looks nice mate! The splitter looks ok too, i think its just the angle of the pic!

I really like the colour of your car matey! Wheels make such a big improvement on the car and does look spot on. Only thing i dislike is the led strips on the lights as mentioned before by others. But apart from that it looks smart!

A nice S3 style exhaust would be a good one next

Car looks spot on now fella, the wheels really finish it off IMO, love the colour aswell. :icon_thumright:

very nice mate...no get yaself out and drive the ****** thing - enjoy ya work ;)
