Hi guys i am a new a3 2.0 tfsi owner and love it !

There are a few mods i really want to do and am after some advice and maybe some pictures to help.

Firstly i want to fit the rear spoiler as they seem to transform the whole backend of the car but am unsure of which spoiler i need for a 55 plate sport model any info on this would be very gratefully received !

Also i like the look of the new S3 alloys and wanted to see what they look like on a sport back in silver so if anyone has any pics of these can you send me some !

Thanks in advance for anyone who is kind enough to help me out !

Cheers Matt

:):)

s line/s3 spoiler will fit perfectly with only a slight mod. IMHO this is the best option. You will need a new rear brakelight also with this spoiler

Votex spoiler. Doesnt look to bad, and uses your existing brake light

Ebay spoiler . No No No :noway:

Look on the pictures thread for a picture of a s3 sportback in silver for an idea on the wheels

Cheers Scottie, I thought as much about ebay spoiler as i heard there not a great fit !! Is the one with a new brake light easy enough to fit ?? is it a case of just swapping the light over and bonding the new spoiler on ??

Also any one have any ideas on how to go about getting it sprayed ? Best to take it to a body shop ?

The S-line & S3 are the same shape and have lugs that go through holes on the top of the tailgate and is bolted on. These lugs can however be cut off or if your brave you can drill the holes LOL. The votex an Audi aftermarket and is a slightly different shape, more squared edges & is designed as a direct fitment in that its bonded straight on to your existing taigate. They both have a cut out for your high level brake light so it doesnt need touched. Note, the 3 door and the Sportback (5 door) spoilers are completely different shape from each other & yes, buy original as Ebay specials are ill fitting.

I fitted a S3 spoiler onto the back of my 5door sport last week.
I just cut off the 2 side lugs and then used the centre bolt to bolt it onto the car whilst using a load of adhesive to stick it into place... took me about 30mins to fit and then taped it down for the night so it doesnt slip from the corners. now it looks like it was there from the start and never retro fitted :)

Here are some pics to show you how it looks before fitting:
