I have just purchased the LED 501 4 led white lights from halfords and fitted them but they have a tint of blue in them, just wondered if anyone else has these fitted? I would like really white crisp colour, cant make my mind up if these look a bit chavy which i definitely dont want!

Also, do the rear LED stop/tail lights make much difference to the rear?

cheers

iMHO, blue = Chavvy, LED tail light bulbs will make the DIS throw a fit.

PS Give people a chance, under an hour between bumps.....

Most LED's are blueish, its just due to how white they are, the ones im running at the moment are pretty much on the brink of being blue but still white.

Mark: ive run 3 sets off LED's and never had a dash fault, think its pop luck if you get it or not with the DIS warning.

Side lights are fine as LEDs it's the tails/brake lights that make the DIS throw a fit without load resistors fitted

thanks very much lads for the replies, i checked mine tonight and stood about 20 foot away and they are brighter than original, look very white with a tinge of blue so i think i will leave them be.

thanks again
