My car's going in for a service and stage 2 re-map and the needed bits next week and wondered if you guys thought if its worth getting a revo sps switch?

I do long journeys occasionally so thought it may help my MPG? also is the revo plus worth going for? or is the standard alright?

Cheers

Dan

Hi Dan, was going to post up this same question, from reading about I think SPS + is the way to go.

I am sure other memebers with it can share an insight to it

These switches are another £300 on top of the remap cost aren't they? I'm Stg1 custom code at the moment but have been thinking about the revo for the same reason, being able to switch from oem map to remap.

sometimes this switch is available for sale on ebay for not much...
i got one for 100$ ... but i still didnt use it since i dont have a map.
i was thinking if i might be able to use that revo switch with other maps(lets say superchips or any other tuner)...???

From reading past experiences, those who have had the REVO SPS4 dongle seems to tweak it a few times until they are happy, then leave the settings fixed afterwoods. I think you are better off borrowing one off someone who has it than buying one outright.

Yea was thinking of contacting Jason myself to see what he could do for me.

The select plus switch is £150 direct from revo, but they also offer £50 off If you buy it within 28 days of buying the map (this is what I did)

I've been looking at the APR remap from Awsome Gti. If you have Cruise control (as I have) you can use that to switch between maps, rather than buying another box.

I'm probably going to go that way when I finally get around to remapping mine...

Anyone got any opinions on this map & switching method?

Cheers,

I agree Joe,Rav just say and could hook up and you can change your settings with it,anyone else who needs it go to the Inters/Audis in the Park as I always bring it to the shows

I reckon a stickie thread with members with the switch and there general location might well be in order on reflection.
anyone agree ?

How about a thread for just Revo users. No smooth custard allowed

Any SPS+ owners in London?

I think its a good idea also :) hoggy was it £150 with £50 discount or £150 with discount?

Its £100 for the Select switch (with this you can turn the map on and off only) £150 for the select plus (with this you can make map adjustments and save three map settings) when bought with a map you can get £50 off either switch. Making the select £50 and the select plus £100,

Hope that clears things up, may be worth checking with your revo dealer to see if the deal is still on but it should be mate
