Hi all,
I am looking at getting the Revo Stage 1 installed on my 59 plate S3 and I am Midlands based, so far I have found the following local suppliers - Porscheshop (based in Halesowen) and Aldon Automotive (by Merry Hill).
Has anyone had any experience of these suppliers (not even sure if Porscheshop will do an Audi) or does anyone know of any good Midlands based suppliers.

Thanks for any help.

AVP in burton upon trent ben williams you want mate .
He writes in audi driver every month on the tec stuf and imo he is the biz
And tell him john wain senhttp://www.avperformance.co.uk/t you .

Thanks for the quick reply, I will give them a look but to be honest I was hoping for something a bit closer, I am based in Halesowen so Burton would be a good 40 mile trip for me. I am willing to travel if need be (I travelled 130 miles to get my Focus ST remapped and serviced) but I would prefer local for the convenience (I have concerns about not having a handheld device so if Audi overwrite the map during servicing etc it means another long trip to get Revo refitted).
Thanks though much appreciated.

Audi can't over write a revo map and i have a slect switch you could use to send it back to stock when you have it serviced buy audi if you need to use it.
as im only in castle bromwitch .

Thanks very much thats a very kind offer, small world really I am originally from Castle Brom (my father still lives there and my kids live in Kingshurst with my ex).
Incidently I was thinking of buying the select package but I was under the impression that even with this system Audi can still overwrite the ECU (as the switch only switches between the Stage 1 parameters and a Revo version of the standard parameters both of which are loaded into the ECU). Obviously I may well be wrong as this was only what I was told, if this is not the case then as you say it will not matter if Audi do a software upgrade during a service etc.

Revo dealer I used to use in Southam who was very good are Stealth Racing. Vince is a genius at problem diagnosis.

Probably about 30-40 miles still I guess.

not a revo dealer anymore Warren
I would say Stealth are more VR6/Golf/Corrado specialists, good bunch of peeps know em well

I know Vince was looking into writing his own remaps so its the natural progression I guess,I had my suspension uprated there and I did mention rear ties but was told not needed,a set of paradas six months on told me I did.

:ermm: not good. Most of my resolved issues were engine related, but that's not great.
