What are the best deals people are getting? My contract on orange is up for renewal and I'm looking for an iPhone. I want to pay £35 per month for 18 months but don't want to pay £280 for the phone, has anyone gotten a better deal from orange? I'm on orange home broadband and the £35 per month mobile deal gets me free home broadband, which makes orange very attractive. Unless I go for O2 which has just launched home phone and broadband, so coupled to an O2 iphone contract should be ok.

I haven't done a check in the last week, but i recall for £40 a month and £80(might of been £120) with either o2 / vodafone you can get it. on an 18month contract.

O2 online do the best deals, I know vodafone have a semi private/ public number you could try and phone which apparently are deal friendly... i.e you can more than likely haggle them etc and want to offer you the best deal around. - if interested i can find the number as they are trying to phone me as mine is up for renewal. But im not sure if voda do home broadband...

On the other hand... here's my true advice, i'm looking to go for the iphone, but if you can wait 1-2 months, Apple will be announcing the iphone 4g in June at their press conference. expect the phone to be released May in US and any time soon after in UK. - although don't quote me, that's my guess as it happened last year. but details will be announced on release dates in June.
Wait til then you may get a better deal with the old 3g if the 4g is a tad expensive. :)

It won't help, but you could do with knowing someone in a service provider. I know someone and therefore get the 3GS at £35/month for the £50 tariff. Free phone + a few goodies. Always helpful!

I've been with Vodafone for years now, and would always go back to them and ask about deals. How long have you been with Orange? Can you not haggle with them?

As Brooksy said, wait unti June 11th (i think) to hear plans for the new iPhone. The rumors/ speculation/ leaks point to a phone which looks a fair bit different to the 3G/3GS (which basically looks identical). Plus, it's apparently got a fair few new features, which will only make it better.
