I know it's a simple thing, but i though i'd make a tutorial :)

You will need:

Bi-Xenon headlights
D1s bulbs
Needle nosed plyers

To start, take the clip off the back of the headlight cover for the dipper beam

And then take the cap off. You will be faced with this

Undo the 2 butterfly clips that hold the bulb in place

I tried taking the connector with my fingers, but it's a tight squeeze. So i grabbed some needle nosed plyers and gently pulled the cable and connector away from the bulb

Next, remove the bulb carefully, trying not to let the actual bulb touch anything

Next, place the new bulb in place, making sure the bulb is the correct way round

Put the connector back on and put the butterfly clips back in place

All done :)

Anyone want some Phillips Xenstart D1s bulbs? :sly:

How much were the bulbs Don?

Great step-by-step guide

Yeah when I fit them for him lmfao, maybe if he sends me some down I'll test them in my car then post pics up, hint Jordie.

Im gonna get pics of one headlight with standard bulbs and then the other with the 8000K ones so you have a comparison

how did you remove your headlight assembly buddy? (see my post a few up!!)

oh im sorry...............Please refer to my previous post, placed further up, on the forum post listing...........

No need to apologise mate, just was going to see if something I could help with but no post there lol.

Aha bistro, he means the THREAD further up/down, makes sense now.

Finally Smudge_Don notices the D1S bulbs that were "definitely" D2S in "every set [of bi-xenon headlights] that i've seen". I did say not to guess!!!!! :moa:
