I bought some LED sidelights, changed the offside no probs, went to do the nearside and was a mare, so sacked it off. tried to remove the one already fitted,Pulled the fitting and the lamp stayed in the holder! as i went to retrieve the lamp fell inside the headlight! gutted, what can i do?

on a plus note , my H&R springs arrived this morning

Only thing to do is take the bumper off and headlamp out unless any metal on the bulb would come out with a long extenable magnet but

Sorry mate, but that's funny :lmfao:

As said, will have to remove the headlight and give it a good shake to get it out

about as funny as AIDS! was a very unhappy young man this morning! is it a big job removing bumper/headlight? smudge, what do you make of the whiteline ARB?

If you go to a steep hill and accelerate hard from a standstill up it, the bulb will slide to the back of the unit. You should them beable to just pick it up through the hole left by the cover. This happened to my Seat and i did this and luckily it worked.

Took me 3 hours 1st time i did it mate....

It's alll gravy :)

Just get a coat hanger or piece of wire even maybe slightly flexible & stick a load of double sided sticky tape on the end taking care to not press against the inside of the lense & leave sticky residue from the tape on the lense & get the led strip stuck to the end of the wire, & pull out carefully, that would be my 1st option.

yeah i must admit, thats the first thing i though of, obviously the hole im trying to pull it through is quiet small, ( calm down lol ) , would it be easier trying to retrieve it through one of the other lense covers?

Just go through the drl bulb hole, plenty wide enough.

as above, coat hanger with sticky stuff, or bluetack, remove another bulb to give you a better chance.
if you get it out first go, we will all club together and get you a goldfish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMFAO, that would be cool, goldfish in your lenses, what a great mod, have to find some nonconductive liquid that allows the lights to work & allow the goldfish to breath lmfao

LMFAO thats brilliant lmfao why didnt I think of that lmfao really is lmfao

sorry but thats funny as fk!

Forget the LED that's fallen in your headlight, I'd be more concerned about the houses and lamppost that are in there.

sorry but thats funny as fk!

Think PETA would have words with us about this mod, goldfish may need laser eye surgery after a week or so or buy them some shades

double sided tape worked for me... on a acrylic rod. But than again my headlight was not installed yet and it was the turn signal lens that had popped out.

**** you lot, i'm down the patent office in the morning for goldfish headlights

Glad you got it done mate

Any pics of the sidelights btw?
