front armrest clip broken

hi my armrest clip has broken ive been looking for a full armrest on ebay and they are to dear does anyone who have had this problem no how to repair it or no where i can get one its a leather type one.thanks

I'm not aware of a repair option. The general practice is to buy a new lid from a dealer - about £65 ish iirc.

Just go and buy one from AUDI, its a 2 min job and cost £47.24 inc. Did mine a few weeks ago.

I bought a complete new lid from audi, just clips on , £39 + vat i think ,I've got the part N'o, somewhere , if your interior is in sole black fabric ?

sorry john , rushing , I failed to read the whole message ,yeah if it's leather bound to be more expensive..
When my catch first broke I bought one of those magnetic cupboard door catches from DIY,,
fitted the mag; part in the a'rest ,and the thin metal strip in the lid, not visible when the lids closed and

it worked fine !!!,if you don't want to spend the extra for a new lid ...

hi ive fixed the problem with some good old fashioned ****** strong glue and it seems to hav worked fingers crossed
