FINALLY!!!

Picked up a few bits over the weekend, travelling over 600miles from Surrey, to Liverpool, over to Bradford and back to Surrey :faint:

S3 front bumper complete with front fogs, washer jet pumps and hoses, S3 grille, fog light grills - the lot!
S3 side skirts complete with kick plates
S3 rear bumper complete with parking sensors and rear valence

All for a lovely price :yahoo:

So, plan from here

Get the skirts sprayed up this week, and trim the front crash bar at the edges to make the front bumper fit

Take the skirts with me to see NHN so that we can stickaflex them on whilst doing the front end - a BIG job

Will consist of:

Bi xenon headlights
Auto levelling sensors
Washer jets
Auto rain and light sensor fitting and coding
Auto dim side and rear view mirrors
Auto folding side mirrors

I'm bored at work, but thought i would update you guys :)

Only downside is i'll be driving a lava grey A3 with a black S3 front bumper for a few days :(

That's what you call commitment! :icon_thumright:

Make sure you show us the pictures when it's ready Jordan!

Would you take a picture of the reinforcement bar before and after so I know where I need to cut it, I can't understand it via text, lol, good luck with it!

what is needed for the auto lights and rain sensor? im very interested in this myself! make sure you take loads of pics for us...
and i would like to know where to trim the crash bar too :icon_thumright:

A new windscreen, rear view mirror and sensor for a start :faint:

Amoungst all the other wires and modules, it does add up!

Why not have the bumpers painted off the car? or is it to blend it in?

I'm not too bothered with the windscreen, but i dont know how many sensors are needed and what else... maybe you could do a write up once you have done yours so that we can all see where you go wrong :moa:
I know the hazzydayz crew do this mod for £600! but i am always looking to save a bit of cash here and there... even though you guys make it harder for me.

Smudge mate your mod list is forever growing! Endless bank account credit?

I need to change jobs and work for you!

With the amount of times the bumper is going to be on and off the car with the installation/testing of the jets etc, it's bound to get scratched

So might as well paint it when everything is in place

Doesn't pay well and the benefits are a bit **** :whip:

people who were interested in my s-line front bumper should check the ebay links thread ;)

Watching it may well bid as it is only down the road but will have to get it sprayed black is the only downside

Would have gone for it but sadly no washer holes but now doing what you are doing...S3 all the way!!!!

All you need to do is with the bottom L/R corners, go up the sides 1.5 inches & mark, then along the bottom from the corners about 10-15 inches mark, then cut diagonally across from the 1.5 inch mark to the 10-15 inch mark, job done.

would this weaken it in any way???

Not a chance, given the part you cut is not bulked up to take the impact as such, its mostly thin alum in those areas

You would like to think so, but the man thinks that some things are funny, when they're really not

I will get my revenge

Once the car is finished
