As some of you know, I'm in the fast food trade, and I also have a delivery service to boot!

Just had a phone call(number witheld) give me an ear bashing, where is my meal?! , it's been over an hour!!, my kids are starving!!!

Went on for 30 seconds, but felt like 5 minutes, I had the phone 6 inches away from my ear in front of other customers. Then I politely asked, what was the address, gave me an address unknown to me or my computer system, so I said "I think you called the wrong place love", she replies "is this the 'Shanghai Express'?!?!", I reply " No it's 'The GXXXXX BXXXXX'"... long pause.... slams phone down hard!

It would be a class move indeed, but she must have sussed which shop is calling eventually, even if I didn't tell her. Was a scene in the shop though, with a few customers having a laugh with me. The whole shop could hear her scream down the phone!

I once called up Domino's and ordered some Pizza for collection. 10 mins later I set off to collect my order, but when I get there the staff cant find my Pizza, or any trace of my order.

After some complaining/apologies they get on with cooking up my order and give me a discount for my trouble. About 2 mins later the penny dropped that I am stood in Perfect Pizza and not Dominos!

I was too embarrassed to own up to my mistake, and quietly waited for my Pizza

I wish things was that easy, she sounded quote pee'd off if you get me, and number was withheld. If I p!ss her off, I can see a whole lot of crank orders coming my way just for laughing.

Rule number one of running any fast food outlet, DON'T P!SS THE CUSTOMERS OFF!
