After the harsh winter, the knackered roads, and a bit of prospecting at ADI last October, I have decided to jump on the Lamin-X baand wago to keep the adaptive bi-xenons in good nick.
Kit arrived from the States yesterday, so as I was back home after a work gig and the weather was good I thought I's use the lunch break to get it on.
Pre cut kit make life easier:
Whipped out all the trimmings:
Cleaned everything up using filtered water (supposed to be de-ionised, but I didn't have any to hand). Donned some gloved

and started the arduous fitting (tools: water sprayer / de-ionized water / sharp craft knife, lint free cloth / hair dryer / bucket of clean water / small squeegee and some pliers - to get fog light grilles off)
One done:
All done and put back together:
This is not an easy job. The hairdryer is essential as the headlights curve so much you really need to shape the Lamin-X. Ideally if you have space and good light, do it IN a garage, not outside like I did as you are fighting air born dust / **** in the wind.
Doesn't look great when first done as water behind the film makes it cloudy. As Lamin-X is porous it will sweat this out and settle (so it says??!). Very thick as films go, so make sure you use a new blade if you can to trim off the lugs and excess.
If in doubt, get a professional to fit it as it's £35% inc. 10% off code, and whilst not hugely expensive it would be if you got it wrong once or twice. If your used to doing a day job using your hands (not an office based seal like myself), you'll walk it.
Feel it makes the front end look more aggressive which can only be a good thing. And saves the lights too. Get in!
