I posted a couple of weeks ago about blowing the turbo hose off while towing the caravan, we'll its happened for the 3rd time this morning on my way to work. Having taken a closer look at the hose, the end that fits onto the turbo, just below the air intake and the drivers side headlight, the lip on the end of the hose that the jubilee clip sits up against has all but sheered off, so the boost pressure is just forcing the hose through the jubilee clip.
I guess I now need a new hose..can anyone help with a part number..if you understand the hose I mean.

Steve

Just tried, the cataloge link doesn't seem to be working !

I've got an old versionof ETKA and can't find the thing on there either !

The hose is a single piece rubber hose, theres a notch cut in the end of the hose to keep the jubilee clip in place, which is worn off, so need the complete rubber hose..when I can find a part number for it.

James..if you're out there..
Its the rubber pipe below the Air Intake, behind and below the drivers side passenger headlight.. I'm assuming its a turbo hose ?

I'll have a look - below the "drivers side passenger headlight" could confuse a stupid person though......

lol..sorry mate..Luckily your not stupid.. I'm having one of those days.. knuckles hacked to pieces refitting the hose and going round in circles trying to find a part number. Its below and behind the drivers side headlight :) not both headlights :)

Maybe no. 22?

(sorry the pics so small)

Yep..spot on..its 22..is that from the intake ?

22 is listed as a "Pressure Hose"

If your chassis no is:

< 8E - 1 - 080 000 part number is - 8E0 145 746 A

if it's above 8E-1-080 001 then it's - 8E0 145 738 F

The jubilee clip is 50-70 X 12 part number - N-105 189 01 if you want to get that too.

Cheers James, again :)
Chasis is 8EZ 1A0

It certainly has to deal with some pressure.. I can't tighten the jubilee clip I've got on any tighter and it still blows it off. I've emailed PJM for a price on the correct hose and i'll get a clip aswell.

Yep, 2.5's Doc :)
I've found it on my version of ETKA, now I know what i'm looking for.. would help if I could use ETKA too of course :)

Oh Yes :D...your's is bigger than mine tho :) need a remap or box :)

:hi:

With ETKA, try the search function (the binocluar icon) top centre and try searching on a keyword, such as "turbo" or "hose", and it will get you close usually.

Has anyone seen PJM Speedy ? I emailed him and haven't had a reply..he's usually pretty quick.

I'm here. Sorry just had mega stressfull day and been flat out. I've e-mailed you back now.

He's probably on holiday......

:lmfao:No not this time! Yes, yes ok I do go away quite a lot.... and when I was away last week I was actually on a course not on holiday!

got it paul, will get back to you.

James..just fitted the Sline door blades I bought..every 1 of the 8 existing screws were ceased and the heads were stripped, so had to drill them all out :) the blades look really good, drivers rear has a scratch in it which will need filled, but I love the look.

I'm over the moon with how they look, really do finish it off. Drivers rear needs some fill and sand and paint, but will wait for now :)
I got an email from paul later this afternoon :) another £50 ish for a hose..:(

Low and behold..just my luck.. not a pressure hose in the country to be had..7-10 day lead time.

Love the door blades tho

I had that with injector pipes once, the wait was quoted in months......

Pics of the blades?
