Looking at the possibility of a set of 19" Audi 20-Spoke wheels on my 2008 A3 S-Line.
Spec as follows:

Diameter: 19"
Width: 9J
PCD: 5 x 112
ET: 41

With 225/35/19 tyres...

Currently running at standard s-line height but anticipating a small drop in the near future.

Would they fit without scrubbage?

Thanks all.

simple answer..........YES! Go for it, they are an excellent choice!

I don't think it's safe to say they won't scrub...

Lee_R - Thanks for the reply, but i think i agree with V6Pete.

V6Pete - I agree, that was my concern. I'd be better placed to hold out for from 8.5 ET48's i think.

is this the a4 set? i looked into it but im sure its tight, and that was on a sport suspension im sure n8 will drop his 2 cents

N8 will say run 215's and it won't rub at all.

Have to disagree I've a set of these but there only going on for shows

look at the tyre manufactuer recomendations (strech is not good for performance , looks wise its marmite imo it looks shiiiit )

but it looks great on at shows and should be kept that way, id never have stupidly wide or large wheels for driving not only would it be a horrible drive its a risky one and with the current state of roads theyd all be ****** in 30 miles of driving :p along with my back!

I have driven on both 225 and 215 on a 9J rim, both drive fine. To be honest it is a bit of a stretch for a 215, thats why I changet to a 225. Loads of people fun this set up with no issues.

As for the wheels fitting, I would go for it, however they may scrub a bit. my 9x18 et 42 does not catch, and I dont think a 9x19 et 41 would either.

As with everything in life, there are pros and cons. 215s on a 9J are perfect if you want to slam your car, have 3 in the back and not even have to worry about rubbing, if you want to nail it round a roundabout then its a no no, handling is majorly effected. Here's a close up pic of the 215 pirellis I had on my splits:

Some like stretch, some don't, nobody is right, nobody is wrong. 225s won't rub unless ur slammed.
