heres my new a4 avant 1.8t 190, im looking forward to spending some money on it, just dont know where to start, what do you guys reckon?

What are your priorities and budgets?
Wheels would be a good starting place, and then a lower depending if it's an SE or Sport. The standard bumper is improved no end by fitting a Cupra splitter (not sure I've seen it on a body coloured lower though....). Larger exhuast tips too?
If the budgets bigger, then a bumper upgrade to S-Line or S4 style?

very similar to mine matey,,aint got a clue how to add pictures to posts,,but check my album in my profile,,ive only done the wheels so far,,but just look at the difference in looks,,,mine had same wheels as yours when i got it!
cheers guys, i think big mods/wheels will have to wait til i sold my mk4 golf 1.8t, but will change the tips as they look lost in those gaps, where can i get said 100mm tips from? im thinking of getting induction kit as i miss the roar i got from my golf but seen mixed reviews on here so will have to look deeper into it and have a think about it
Your 190 is quattro right?
Bad idea for induction, the air intake is bang on next to the exhaust etc in the engine and will suffer heat soak like a Goth in the sahara. and you would loose a lot of power with flat spots etc.
Some suggest panel filters and drilling the air box, but these filters are just regular ones with bigger holes. these holes mean dust and im just not cool with dust in the engine.
Since noone else has suggested this yet i would do an oil change to be on the safe side too and to know whats in your car The 1.8T are very picky on their oil.

yeah it is a quattro, yeah dont think i will opt for the induction kit then, it was nice on the golf cus it went right in front of grill near wheel arch, lovely cold air all the time, will look into the air box trick, seen a bit on here about smoothing it out, think i will buy another one and give it a go, what oil does the 1.8t like then pal?sorry bout questions, still learning, took off my forge 007p of my golf put factory one back on , so i will put that on audi tonight, am i right in think the re-circ/divertor valve is located underneath drivers side and will need to remove under tray to get to it?

Mate thats well nice, just what am hoping to get my hands on soon, id start with some coilovers but everyone has there own ways with there cars, i look forward to seeing some progress
I take it that yours is a sport, and not SE? Just liking how the wheels sit in the arches, it looks ace mate!
And back to topic, loving the new avant mate! As mentioned, new bumpers, wheels etc would look a treat, but cost a fair penny.
think your wrong mate, mines a 53 plate the s line took over sport editions on 04 plates, its a 190 for def, 6 speed BEX engine code
No, all B6 S-Lines were 190bhp 1.8t, kind of a special edition, B7 was when S-Line replaced Sport. I stand corrected that only the S-Line had the BEX.
wasnt 100% sure on the sport to s line but mine is def the 190 as got all paperwork to prove it, and is a BEX cause i had a look, i think a s line kit is definatly the way forward, got a viewer on my golf today so fingers crossed the modding can start!
