Well things are coming along rather well so far... The only issue I have is that I decided to wrap my mirror caps in CF dry carbon and I am really not that good at it...

Here it is so far.

The CF wrap ran into some technical difficulties. Looks good but need to iron out some wrinkles... literally. Looking into getting it done by a professional once the vinyl gets here, which should hopefully be today.

Will be redoing the rear valance with the Carbon CF too and hopefully will get the mirror caps right ... without breaking any more mirrors.

The interior came out much better I think....

Nice job, sure the mirrors will righten. The paint is poppin well, looks really good. Wasnt sure on the interior until i saw the pics, looks nice.

Like the carbon on the interior and mirrors, maybe I might just copy this for my mirrors instead of getting the chrome finish mirrors instead.

Lava grey is the THE best colour . by far. Want to spray my badge black too looks ace.

Do NOT re-spray the badge!!

Made that mistake the first time around and I regretted it, a year in it looked like it was diseased with all those white looking spots on it.

I ordered mine from eBay

This seller specifically

Although he seems to have raised his prices since when I bought mine a couple of weeks ago...

Pretty happy with the way it is turning out so far... definitely need to find a professional installer to redo the mirror vinyl again. The pieces I had to work with were a bit too small anyways and needs to be redone. Very happy with the H&R (35mm) Sport springs combined with the FSD's. Only wish I'd been able to get the VB3's in 18" ... the 19's weigh something like 50lb each with tires and are a bit harsh on the local roads.

Thanks for all the feedback guys

cheers for the heads up on the badge! gonna order the front now i think...
feel you re the wheels, they look sick but I believe my R32 reps weigh a ton also and do nothing for my acceleration/handling/economy. maybe some lightweight rims next year.

undo the top bolts above the grill and pull the front forward enough to get your hand in and pop the clips

Whilst your talkin about this, i desperately need my grille surround re-wrapping. Anyone here ever done this or know of someone that has. Cant decide whether it'd just be as easy to buy a new grille altogether.

All I did was using the trim removal tools I got from eBay for about $10, pry up the rings from the inside of each ring right by the clip. Once you have one pried up, leave something in there to keep it from snapping back in and move on to the next clip. The clips are located on the top and bottom of every ring and on the sides of the outer rings. My OEM ones are still in one piece. You just have to be really careful and use the plastic trim removal tools, no metal...

Good luck.
