Does anyone have a pic of the backside of the S Line bumper with the cut outs to give an idea of whats there etc?

I did look at my old bumper though, and it has gubbins in there which I presume is for the washers. I can only assume the s lines will be the same.

I will take a picture for you later and show you. :)
 
they all have indentations for washerholes they are only cut when xenons are specced, not sure if theres any difference partnumberwise

I am going to do the same, my 2005 sline needs new fogs so I will be looking to sell the whole front end and replace with the above.
 
This is what is behind a non washer jet non sline bumper.

I cant remember what was behind my s line one before I fitted it though :faint:

Cheers Scottie! Well do I cut or not! Worried it may split the front face! Not bothered about paint chip etc cos it will need painting but worried if it splits... Although I know ABS is pretty tough.

thanks thats great. So all you need is the bonnet! wow, nearly there. Seen a few on ebay recently, I managed to get one a few weeks ago, so keep looking!

im considering getting an S3 front end but i need to know...
do i just need the bumper, grill and fogs or do i also need a reinforced bar? i think i read somewhere i need to add some more parts but im not sure
 
you dont have to get a new re-inforcement bar, if needs be, you could trim the existing re-inforcement bar - couple of milimetres either side iirc
 
if you have an sline you only require the bumper just check your fogs are h11 fitment
 
Decided am just gunna buy a new bonnet from audi because it's a joke and will probably end up with me selling my parts if i continue to wait for somebody to put one on ebay, wish me luck on wasting £250

have you tried scrap yards? go online and search for breakers and then register yourself on the breaker site and search for parts...
 
My S-Line conversion is complete (woohoo) - I see what you meant now Scottie about applying the S-Line badge. I tried Araldite after a bit of modding and it just wasnt stable/secure enough.

I'll get the S-Line badge and my cupra R splitter attached then take some pics.

And 'Finally got an A3', keep trying all of the breakers on ebay/wherever you can - thats how I got my bonnet. Took a lot of time pestering people but worked out in the end...good luck

Well i asked him for the rear sensors and module with loom and he says its stuck to the bumper, so i just gave up on him. No point trying to teacha monkey tricks when he is just plain blind!
 
yeah i know that guy ,they call him andy he owns motors in motion . all his parts are dear ,hes verygood freinds with a mate of mine and he gets parts off him all the time for free. got 4 bkd injectors for nothing to test on my car .
 
tbh f it was anywhere near reasonable i would have bought t thereoff but think he was asking 50 quid short of brand new prices from a car thats had a bit of bother
