Wheel help!

if it is an 8p a3 you have yeah they will fit, ill let someone comment on the offset either will work though and are T & T'd

The 45 offset will be ok on the front. The 9 wides on the rear at 45 will be a push as it make it the equivilant of eta 33 ish. I think that will be pushing it too mush unless you stretcccccchhhh your tyres.

If you could get 2 sets of the fronts at 8.5 , the will be fine on 45 offset

And the pcd is correct for the 8p chassis

I have a set of original 18 BBS CH for sale - ET50 x 8J.

I bought them for my own car but I now need extra clearance for my mega brakes, Looking for £600, great condition, 2 slightly curbed and just bought a brand new set of centre caps, PM if interested.

Would you prefer to wear Asda own brand jeans or some Firetrap ? Buy some originals :)

If only I could.

I've spent far to much this week already :(

I've none left to spend :( You could always buy them for me N8 :)

Or loan me your wheels.......................:o.k:

Is there anywhere you can find details and specs on all Audi alloys to see what you car can and cant take. I have an A3 sport with the standard 17's. I want another set of 17's, but must be genuine Audi. Where can i find what does and doesn't fit.

Ideally a list of sizes and offsets.

its something we should really draw up tbh, what brands are you looking at? i went for genuine s3 wheels though i looked at some A4 designs <3 the OEM+

Only genuine Audi.

Regarding the offset, is it stamped on the alloy itself. I have seen exactly the same design, but the offest quoted is different. Do Audi have the same design, but with different offsets for the A3, A4 etc.

Yes the 18 S line wheels are available in 2 offsets, one for the A3 and one for the A4/A6. A4 wheels fill the arches better on lowered A3's but look rubbish and buggy like on standard suspension. There is another 17 inch multispoke design that has the same problem, different on A3/A4 but looks identical from the front. Only other is the BBS cross spokes, these come in 2 offsets too but are stamped.

Depending on width, OEM wheels can vary between 51 and 54 on the A3 but the general rule is 45+ is fine and yes all the wheels will be stamped with the offset, aka "ET" number

I think all the others are A3 specific at 17 inch size. If you got to 18's then there are also TT versions which are wider than the A3/A4 ones

yeah the a4 s3 and tt all have defferent offsets for the same wheel design, the a4 and tt ones are also a half inch wider i belive at 9J on the rear

Okay thanks for that. I think the 2005 Audi A3 sport alloys are ET56 as standard for the 17" 7.5J. I want exactly the same size so i need to look out for ET56.

ill retrim your seats for you, if by that you mean steal and leave a nice full leather s3 ones in the place of it :)
