Things my A3 doesnt have

Ok, according to the user manual for the car
the car should have/do things like:
hill assist, so it holds the breaks on the hills
and when you do an emergency stop the hazzards flash,
are these settings that need enabling in vagcom or what?

The hazzards yes but not sure how to do it - the hill hold I am not sure

i thought the hazards were enabled as std it takes some sever braking to turn em on though

How old is your A3. Hill hold used to be an option but is now fitted as standard to cars with S-tronic. Not sure about the hazard flashers with emergency breaking. I know it can be activated using VCDS but not sure if it comes set from new.

its a 58 plate,
so these cant be enabled by vagcom?
if not what other cool things can be? ha!

Pretty sure there's a thread in the FAQ section with some details.
Off the top of my head that I can think is are:
- Auto door lock
- All doors open when you click the key FOB unlock once
- timings of coming home / leaving home lights
- bleeps on lock/unlock
- remove seat belt chime

there must be lots more but I don't rememeber.

You can do the hazard flashers with emergency braking with VCDS which incidentally is the new name for Vag-Com.
