Cargo Nets - UPDATE

Received the nets over the weekend have'nt had an opportunity to post but am able to do so tomorrow so will send out for those who have paid anyone who was on the original group buy and has not paid will need to do so ASAP.

I have briefly tried the nets and they do fit although I would note that my A4 does not have the pull rings shown on the ECS Tuning advert and I'm probably right in assuming that none of the A4's have this, I have looked into adding cargo net rings and the best I could find are this:

I've got these in my Avant:

My 2003 Avant also has the four eyelets near each corner. So it seems it's just Avants that have them.
 
i think the avants have the nets for safty ie if you have a crash it stops bits flying into the front of the car witch is why the salons
dont have nets i think not that thats of any help to any one but the loops that james has you can pick ujp some thing very close
in b&q or homebase for 2 pounds or so and just put washers on the under side or a flat pice or metal the same size as the bass part of the loop
to stop it pulling through.

My saloon doesn't have any, my avant did.. I wonder are the fixings there below the carpet, it would be a simple retrofit then..

Two nets received this morning - one big and small.

Note on luggage hooks in my saloon - I retrofitted them bought the screws and chrome hooks from Audi, (Chrome Hook Part no. 1J0 864 203 D2 ZZ [4 required @ ~£13each] / Torx Bolts Part No. N 104 560 01 [8 required @ ~£0.20each]). Threaded fixings are in the boot under the carpet/trim - just had to cut the carpet/trim to fit the hooks - quite a simple job if you take the side panels out the car to cut the holes.

Small & Large Nets hooked in.....

Mine arrived this morning too - Cheers Seb :icon_thumright:

The big one is quite big I must say, but when folded into it's little tube it fits nicely in the nearside storage compartment. I didn't manage to fold it up quite as neatly as it came though :(

personally i think you will soon get bored with attaching and unataching the net imoa, never needed one yet personally:lazy:
 
Personally I get fed up having to put all of the shopping back into bags after thay have rolled out, this is a neat little accessory.
