Collection of my BE is only 2 weeks away and I'm sorting out a collection day checklist - any help appreciated in determining what items should I be asking for on the day.... At the moment, I'm thinking:
-- Complimentary floor mats in back and front
-- Full tank of petrol
Anything else?
What should I be checking for on the car as I collect it? I want to be sure I'm checking for the right things and not drive a possibly defective / mis-built car. Again, any suggestions appreciated. Seems like an obvious question but want to make sure the dealer isn't slacking / pulling a fast one
Cheers
My first demand would be that the keys are handed to me by the Hottest woman who works there. Ohhh, and she has to be naked
Mine was built week 10 and is still "awaiting shipping"!!
How long is that going to be?! Monday I hope!
Don't run it in too carefully - the piston rings need plenty of load in the first few hundred miles to help them bed in (we make them for Audi!)
Whoever says black is the second best color for black edition .. well i disagree .
Btw, I am coming from a background of owning a 182 Cup for 3 years and now running a 350Z which I've had for 16 months so I'm a little concerned about having a 'normal' diesel car too. Mine is also a company car so in some ways just looking forward to minimal worry with it, plus the looks and hopefully the build quality will make up for it
Hmmm, then why can they fit a Quattro badge onto the front grille of a Quattro BE?
Incidentally, I took the opportunity to nosey around a few others whilst I was there. I've chosen brushed alu inlays for my car, but having seen the piano black again tonight I'm not sure I've made the right choice! What's everyone's opinion on the piano black?
Spoke to the stealers yesterday and was told that I couldnt fit a front grille S-Line badge to my new BE because "the grille doesnt feature a small insert / small space like the old A3"
I can see what he means, but in reality, is that the case? To fit an S-Line badge would I need to carve a small gap out of the grille to clip it in?
