I know, i'd all but lost the will to live with the 2 rovers doing 35-40 and nowhere to pass. Got them in the end though, ha! I've got to stop braking in the corner, must do better. Went into Morrisons in Banchory for Sunday dinner, hoaching with pink skin. Just glad my milk bottle legs are intact!

You should have come down man I was feeling a bit like a gooseberry (in a good way) in my little A4. Being harrased by S3's and the like. It was a good day chaps and the weather made it even more enjoyable. Ah one day of sun and we all turn to sunseekers. I've got some pics so will get them sorted and posted asap, plates blured and all. Cheers gents

good effort coming down all the way from Inverness though. :icon_thumright:

Right gents, I'll kick off with some of my snaps from today. Not bad, but not great at the same time!

Started 11AM in Banchory...

Then headed through Aboyne, bypassed Ballater and onto Braemar and the spittal of Glenshee. Weather was crackin' so we stopped for a quick pic...

Finally, up and down through the spittal and stopped for refreshments...

Cheers, Rich :icon_thumright:

haha doesnt bother me like ust wish you'd have warned us lol. some great shots there ta

Was a great day out, thanks to all for making my boys welcome as well.

Weather was great as well which always helps

I'll try this again but without putting everyone's plates on display...

Was also saying that your boys were just as excited about the cars as us so I don't think we had to try and make them feel welcome, they just sorta fit in! lol.

Here's the photos though (I don't have photoshop or anything so their pretty much staright off the camera...):

Edit - For some reason the number plates (which are swirled on photobucket) are not swirled when posted here... Shame but I'll just leave this as the only one up for now.

Nice Dan, love it. Note to self, sort out that stance...

Was good to meet everyone yesterday im currently sat on the train down to collect the new project car so ill fire up the few pics i got.

And Rich you do indeed need to sort the stance out. What happened to you guys on the way back you just vanished

i meant to ask you how you were getting on with your project car, i had a small mishap with oil by that i mean id forgotten to fill mine to ful so it was boiling trying to keep up with you guys  so i had to take it easy, thats why i dropped off was having good fun untill then put a half litre in when i got back to forfar and everythings sweet again probably due to less air and the temperature outside. doesnt help that the fan on the car is on its way out. i should have a new one in for next time though just one of the jobs ive never gotten round to

Rich went into 'driving miss daisey mode' and i couldn't get past all 3 in a row...................................lol.

Seriously, after you went the roads got twisty and the oncoming traffic got busy at the wrong time.

Is that why you dropped back into Ballater?

yeah oil was still above the minumum but i was having to boot it to keep up with you lads, kept on having to let off in the corners dont trust those winter tyres one bit went for the sunday drive road instead haha

I was being that bit cautious, I will admit, but the blue-rinse brigade was out for their jolly Sunday stroll in the Rover 95. Honestly, 40mph? I saw Neil tear off with Si in hot pursuit, but just after Ballater that was it, gone. Think I saw the remains of the Civic, but haven't read anything about it. Was it as nasty as we thought?

Thats the power of diesel for you:happy:

Si tried hard to overtake but didn't quite have the power:lmfao:

Saw the remains of the Honda as well i think...

Good to meet you all yesterday we couldnt have picked a better day or destination for the first meet.
My boy wont shut up aboout Audis now, i even heard him in the playground this morning trying to set up an "audi gang" with his pals unfortunatly they were more interested in Ben ten
thanks again Martin

****, the close up of my front end is seriously getting to me. Doesn't look too bad from the side view, but 225's as a minimum are needed quick like. Anyone know where I can trade used tyres in against new ones, plus cash obviously?

Great pics though. Anyone with anymore?

think si still has to post his, would be nice to see some tiltshift that always looks sweet

apologies fopr not making this people, had a family emergency which required my attendance ill hopefully get myself along to the next meet

no worries Callum, an emergency is an emergency. Was top banter, but next meet attendance is mandatory!

You could call Sillett's on Holland St. in Aberdeen. I don't know if they would do it but I know they are one of the best for prices and he will change all four of your tyres in about 5 mins which is great. Give him a call...

Simon - We're still waiting on your photos!
