Doesnt the PS3 have freezing issues?? And can it play PS1 & 2 games?? I have gaming consoles so not really bothered about another. Just wanted a fairly good bluray, but thanks

IMO you would be better waiting another 12 months as prices for these are pretty steep, the first time I saw one of these I was blown away, it was a 32" AMAZING picture quality of a bluray demo disk and cost £1800, saw another one a couple of months ago it was a 37" one and didnt like the way the tv had trouble keeping up with the game of football that had it set up to display, wasnt noticably better than the £600 LG I got six months ago...

Cracking technology, my laptop has a LED monitor but leave it to the early adopters and the money bags, in a year's time they will be affordable and a better quality. :)

Yeh maybe but you know what its like lol, I cant wait!!! I also saw the Panasonic Viera which had an awsome pic too! Alot to choose from! The LED we saw was playing a bluray dvd, the picture was like looking through a window, stunning!

Make sure you see them all with a standard def TV signal too. Some are good with it others are useless, and as hardly any of the stuff we can watch is HD, you'd be pretty ****** off if you got a TV that looked brilliant in the store but couldn't bare to watch at home.

The reviews say the speakers are poor and really only ok if your using a surround sound / external speaker system . Ive been very tempted myself think I need to go bigger than the 40 Samsung lcd poss 46 or even 50 :):):):) world cup year very tempting

Also keep an eye out for the new sony led tvs that should be out now. Meant to have better blacks and will also have 3d software so you can have sexy 3d glasses!!! Has wifi and freeview HD when it gets rolled out.

Yeh, we have a 50 which is ace but its not LED! Good for gaming though!

I have a Samsung 37" LED series 6 LED TV and it is very good. Also have Sky HD which is top rate with the TV. Even standard definition TV is good. Do wish I had got the 40" tv though. Will do next time!

I recently purchased a Sharp Aquos 46" Backlit LED TV. I am made up with it! In fact, I liked it that much that I went and got the 32" version for my boys and converted the spare room into a games room for them..lol.
There were 2 types. The Regular 50hz version and the 100hz version. I auditioned both and many others inc the Samsungs and found once you went over the 50hz mark, live TV bacame very jittery. Almost like you were watching time lapse. My 50hz version is great on live TV and the Xbox through an HDMI cable is simply stunning!
I got a cheap Phillips Bluray for just under the £100 mark and it was worth every penny. Buying the new technology isn't the expensive part, replacing all your favourite films in Bluray is!:lmfao:
Paul.
