had my RS4reps re finished in dark steel and imo they looked great BUT then i heard some sad news that there were only 1 set off these left ! so i had to have them ...........

i got some spare mirrors off ebay and had them sprayed audi quartz cause the oem silver ones did nt "go" with the rs4 this colour was a shade lighter than the dark steel BUT matched these bang on .....

l was thinking of these in normal finish or a set of the new s3 black edition one, but these are exactly what l want for my sprint blue s3
 
look great mate, u need to get the grill surround in the same colour now ;-)

my RS 4 are very simlar colour to the black edition rims BUT 19" and better offset , bargin at that money too

I would never have thought of doing the mirror covers in THAT colour - probably because I wouldn't have had the nuts to go so 'off course', so to speak. But it all works bloomin' well.

Looks cracking mate, I agree with Luke though, front grille colour to match... theres always something hey :lmfao: :icon_thumright:

it took me ages to find them mate , i m a "mud flaps" guy think they are like marmite ! but i like em for the practical side but think they look good too :icon_thumright:
 
Where did you get them mud flaps from mate .
And have you got any more pics of them on the car ?

Would like to see more pics too... seriously interested in the mud flaps too.
 
thanks for the comments guys i ve got 225 on so am led to believe that H&R s should be ok , i do keep looking at them so this will probably be my next mod but not for a while want to do a few bits inside the car first (they cost less ! ):icon_thumright:

Not that you need any confirmation as it is your car, but I did look to see what you were running and they are definatley 225's :laugh:

I did have to look twice though

You should be ok with the H&R springs, just dont add any more doors and you'll be fine :moa:

I think boydie is running 235's and getting away with it.

Lots of factors which have been talked about to death now I think, tyre make, offset, 3door or sportback .....................................

I dont even think you flaps will get in the way as when people have had rubbage its always been at around the 10 to o'clock bit of the arch.
 
Despite all the excellent info I get off here I'm still taking a gamble on 225x35x19 in Goodyear Assymetrics, car not lowered yet though so time will tell. I drove Matt Andrew's H&R lowered S3 with 19" CK and his rub is pretty minimal, we also compared the postioning of the rear arch screw and it seems to be the same on both 3 and 5 door, time will tell...

thats how i like it ,would have 235 if i knew they would nt rub , spin... 225 defo no rubbing oem but not sure on H&Rs
 
this subject seems to have been done to death now but i will find out on Thursday. s3 SB H&R with 19's and 225's. got a feeling i have bitten off more than i can chew. i will let everyone know.
