Its sunny outside of this office...

I hate working in an office, especially when its so nice out today!

I work in town, just had my lunch, but cant even enjoy the sunshine outside, as every single blade of grass in the city is already taken! Its crazy! There are tiny little bits of grass around town, and as soon as the sun comes out, you get people laying on whatever bit of grass they can find!

I hate missing out on the sun and being cooped up in an office!

Anyone else get this around where they work?

just finished painting my new calipers and they are drying in the sunshine, also cleaned out the garage whilst waiting to apply the second coat

i know what you mean about work though mate, i work in a factory and if on lates the temperatures can get stupid, i think a few years ago when we had a really good summer the highest temperature recorded was 42.6 degrees, we are unable to open any doors or windows due to hygiene policies and there are two 60ft long ovens running at 950 degrees each, then a few smaller ovens that run at a modest 270 degrees, lovely!!

I'm in the city too. Grabbed a sarnie, took a walk to the local bit of grass, wasn't a single blade without a suited/skirted bum plonked on it.
Ended up sitting on a wall next to some woman who had a better looking sandwich than mine.

Total lunchtime disaster!

Ah! I fininshed at 1!!! Great walking to the car, sun shining down, driving home with the sunroof open and being able to sit out for a bit! Roll on summer!!!! Supposed to be a good weekend too!!!!

I must be lucky then, where I work in sunny shropshire, we have extensive lawns and a boating lake next to the car park, it has ducks and swans on it and some posh folk who can afford sailing boats go for a little run out! I also have flexi time so can take as long as i like for lunch!

Unfortunately this time of year you may see some live "duck porn" frisky mallards!!!!

Wow sounds lovely. We have grounds and a pond which is nice but not in summer with the midges!! No ducks though lol

My work is surrounded by lovely green grass, nicely landscaped with the works! but no one has a long enough lunch break to go out and enjoy it! except for those who go out for a ciggie! (in their designated shelters).

Ah. What u planning on doing to it?

Well, firing up the beast that is my mk2, Golf, fuel was p!ssing out from underneath, so I had to go buy a new fuel filter and replace it! What a job that is on axle stands outside the house!! Gave up and went to a good friend to borrow his ramp, job done in little time, must have wasted a tenner worths of fuel on the way there it was so bad!

Maybe Jojo is going to clean it......................
