Hi guys,

I have an Audi A4 Cabriolet, 1.8T Sport, 2004 model and am looking to have a multi function steering wheel and cruise control fiited....any ideas on how much that could/would cost me?

If there's already a thread that would help please point me in the right direction...

If you do the buying seperately and fit yourself:

B7 Wheel and Airbag £200
8E0 953 549 Q Steering Module £60
4E0 953 541 A or B Slip Ring £50
Cruise control and cowling £100
Programming free is you have VCDS/VAGCOM otherwise however much somebody will do it for you

If you pay somebody with their parts £850-£1000

Try these mate
http://www.vwcruise.com/17.html they are highly recommended and travel over most of the country

NO DONT !!!!!!!!! as black above states, get them yourself seperately and either fit them yourself or theres plenty on here that would fit them alot cheeper than lazzy days ! he aint cheep and he aint all that either !!!!!

Yeah I'd agree with that, stay clear of Gareth mate as I've heard reports of charging for modules he doesnt actually fit or replace, he overcharges aswell & as a member recently found out he fitted something without knowing it wouldnt work, idiot!!!!

Where abouts are you as I know a guy who has a wheel for sale & would fit at a cost, certainly cheaper than VWCruise

Regardless of who is doing the work I would never think of fitting a B7 wheel to a B6. You will never know if the single stage controller will deploy the dual stage airbag. I'm sure I read a thread on audiforum which some did have a crash and the airbag did not deploy.

Anyone notice the BS on this page... http://www.vwcruise.com/107.html:lmfao:

wasnt that the one that wasnt wired correctly, if done correctly to the correct impact trigger theres no reason why it wouldnt go off.

You take the risk that's all I'm saying! no one as proof that this works if the car is in an accident.

Yes the airbag going of is questionable, ideally needs the correct stage connected to work fully, it hasnt really been tested properly if it will go of.

Nice pic of a TT disguised as an R8 huh lmfao, also its not really buttons is it, it a lever with multi positions & 1 button.
