Does anybody know the weight of a single s3 Avus alloy ? with or without tyre ?
Just won some on ebay to refurb and spray...but im trying to sort out a courier for postage ?
Also while im at it, as anybody else used a courier for sending/receiving alloy wheels ? How much did it cost and who was it with ?

:readit::w00t:

I sold my old avus and shipped them using http://www.parcel2go.com/ for around £40.

Can't remember the weight right now but did post it somewhere on the forum once, will try to find out.

Thanks guys ! sorted it out anyway now.
The sellers sorted it out using royal mail ! :S ... haha so to make things easy ive took him up on his offer.

And for anybody's info... so ive been told anyway, he said they weight 22kg all together with tyres.
so roughly 5.5 kg a wheel, with tyre .

Ill prob get corrected by someone now but please do it would be interesting to know ! :) haha

So your saying a alloy without tyre weighs 5.5kg?

5.5kg...don't think so :)
Team Dynamics PRO1.2 in 7x17 weighs around 7.5kg so i'm almost certain that the avus is heavier ;)

i would say about 13kg each alloy without tyre

yeah sorry guys. i defiantly was on another planet when i was typing that out :lazy: :tocktock:
Received my alloys today.
each weigh 22kg each with tyre.

22kg :faint:
I need some lightweights then :)

I got some 18" Team Dynamics 1.2 SL Pros, im willing to swap for std 17" Avus

I'm keeping mine, I always keep the original wheels ;)
