Has anyone fitted a FK black grille? just want to know how it compares to an origional as the price is half

Thanks Piers - the 1 on ebay looks gloss black which i think would be the same as the genuine optics grille? is your mates gloss or matt?
Are these a perfect fit or do they look aftermarket (gaps, etc)?

From memory, the FK grills don't fit the S3 bumper ...

I've just got the same cupra splitter just over £22 from Liverpool Seat!! so a bargain.

no it is a perfect fit on mine... my mates is the optics grille, but an audi one. not FK....
but i thought i would just show u the pics so u can see how it fits etc... but yea, its perfect on mine!

Its the ambient lighting lol, like on the W8 passat.....

I just googled it, seems in the VW, Seat and Skoda circles they refer to the Interior Light Pack as W8 lighting....

There you go, I've had a few VW's so it stuck with me sorry. Made you all wonder so thats good lol We changed a few VW's so they had the W8 lighting as i'm sure you all know on here, its much better.

I bought an FK Grill from FK Automotive DIRECT from Germany.
There are loads of options, best to look at the website.

The one I chose comes in GLOSS as standard but a trip to my local body shop and £30 later will see it it Matt Black glory!

The quality of the FK Grill is superb, very rigid and robust.

Just a bit of a pig to swap Grills and the bumper needs to come off really (If any one knows an easier way please PM me ;-) )
The Cupra splitter is a must too, most Seat parts departments stock it!

Having owned a W8 with factory W8 lighting, all the issues with the car make the funky lighting not worth the hassle
