Difference b/w 8P A3 & S3 front grills.

I'v just bought an S3 bumper off ebay. Was wondering if an A3 grille will fit. Any ideas?

Totally different shape, the A3 grille is taller and thinner.

One reason I decided against the S3 front when I was doing my Single grille conversion, the other is the price of the fogs and surrounds. You will be one lucky man if you find them second hand.

Your wrong mate. The S3 grille fits fine, it just leaves a 5mm gap across the bottom thats not notieable when fitted. Your right about the grilles though, they are hard to come by but the fogs are no different to the S line ones though.

Lee, he's not asking if the S3 grille fits the S-Line bumper he's asking if the S-Line grille fits the S3 Bumper. AFAIK the S3 Bumper will not take an S-Line grille, but the S-Line bumper will take an S3 Grille as you say with a gap across the top I thought. The fogs are also the same I checked on ETKA, however the fog grilles are not.

Thanks great thanks, do you think if you modified it, before a respray, it would cover the gap up and still look good qualitly?
