Yeah mate, 8.5x19" BBS CH ET50 235/35/19 Tyres lowered 25mm on H&R Springs bought from Orange Tunning in Germany.

While I agree the standard optic pack imo does not suit sprint blue I modified a std optic grill and used the chrome parts from my std S3 grill to end up with a hybred grill which I liked

IMHO, optics black is really only suited for white, black or red cars. Anything else and the contrast just isn't that sharp...

Sprint looks best with bling.
In fact Im looking at refurbing the OEM wheels in a slightly higher gloss finish, for added bling factor.
However there is a TTS on ASN with optics and carbon bits and that looks very good. Not sure how well you could pull that off on an S3 though.

do you mean you want a chrome one or you have a chrome one you want to swap for a black one?Anyone up for a swap of a black optics for a full chrome S3 grill?

I decided to change my grille at the weekend as well, it doesn't seem to be a popular option however I've never really been a fan of the grey plastic on the standard grille. Plus I think the black looks a little meaner, reminds me a bit of the previous model RS6 Plus in sprint blue that had the black grilles.

There is a blue RS4 in sprint near me that has black wheels, mirrors and optics... Wasn't sure about it @ first but now I think it looks great!
I'd also paint the grey trim @ bottom of bumper and rear bumper grey diffuser black FTW. wrap the mirror housing if going for black, I hope that what the RS4 owner by me did as it nuts painting £500+ chrome mirrors in black, lol!!

Hi, I have both grilles, just wondering how you put the chrome parts on the blackout one. Anymore photos??
Cheers for the comments guys!I'm really loving the front end now, I seen an s3 in sprint blue with optics and gloss black alloys that looked pretty good, I don't know if I'll change the colour of the alloys and if I do its more likely to be when I change the alloys for something lighter like turini's or pro race 1.2's in satin black!
I've got a facelift diffuser ready to go on that I've had done in gloss black, I think I'll do the lower front spoiler in gloss black too but I'll probably leave the mirrors for now as I like them!
