Here's a thought; had these tasty wheels happen to come from a SEAT or SKODA would people leave the centre caps on? If the answer is YES you are lying. If it's no, it's because it's seen as a lesser brand and entirely why it's a bit cringey to see Porsche (who own VAG, rather than part of it really) or Bentley caps left on because it's just sooo obvious they're left there to try and gain some kudos.
I find the comment about it "not being easy to change centre caps" curious compared to the likely other far more complex modofications most cars have done to them! It's not the wheels that's the issue, it's the other-marque badges in the centre, left on as a "statement".
If you had seen bentley badges you would see its not possible to change them and why bother anyway,so if you see an amazing car you would look round it and say wow,ow no hang on its not got the right centre badges i don't like it.
I have has loads of people say how good the car looks and how nice the wheels look, even my neighbours
comment who are not into cars, then they ask what the B stands for, they don't suddenly go ow i don't like it.
The reason most people have so called better brand alloys is that alot of them use nicer and bigger alloys
which we choose to run, rather than fitting 15" focus wheels
Did they go "oooooh" when you said they're from a Bentley?
It was more a oooohhhhhhh aaaaahhhhh
OK OK I like having bentleys wheel's i admit it but i think changing the centres would just look daft ,anyway we are never going to
agree on this one
So were do you guys stand on Merc rims? I'm running E Class rims on my Golf 8.5" fronts 9" rears
