S3 Bodykit on A3 2.0 TDi (53) 8P

Hi I've got 2003 8P 2.0 TDi and want to put S3 bodykit on. Questions are wots the best place to get hold of an S3 kit? Secondly what front end bits will I need to change apart from bonnet and reinforcement bar? Do I need to change headlamps, front panel, front wings etc?

Best is to get it off ebay or ebay.de or if you have lots of spare cash, audi themselves.

You dont need anything else apart from the bonnet and reinforcement bar but you can shape yours to fit.

You will need the obvious grills, fog lights, fog light surrounds etc...

For the side skirts, you will need the lower door moulds as well.

Personally, I wouldn't S3 it. I had an 8P1 before my S3 and I had the votex kit on it with an S-Line rear bumper

ECS Tuning are doing the kit for decent money at the minute but postage might be an issue

I dont know but the original prices were the same as audi's and they are using a lot of audi parts in their catalogue so I think it is genuine but you can email them to make sure

Thier postage is crazy though, I was looking at their Maniac Ignition barrels and the postage is near enough the same price as the item!

I have just worked out that it's roughly £183 delivered, which is around $275.

It's weird, had my car for 2 years now. One month after I got it, I changed my front bumper for an S3 one, kept the S-Line badge on it, I now have a S3 Sportback rear valance, and next month will be having S3 sideskirts fitted. The S3 sportback didn't come out on my shape, it came out on the newer shape.

I didn't set out to make my car "look" like an S3, even though it does and it doesn't But for me its just the best styling for the A3. I just didn't think the S-Line bumper worked with the Sportback, but I like Chris Brown's A3 & how he has S3 rear and skirts, and kept the S-Line front, imo it flows very well.

I personally don't like the votex styling whatsoever, looks aftermarket even though its oem, and just looks so out of place.

Thanx pal, much appreciated. So what ur sayin is tht I definitely don't need to change anything else apart from the bonnet and reinforcer. So is the bonnet same on all 8Ps (single grille)? I mean reg wise would a 55 reg bonnet be different to a 58 reg one? Also S3 is a differently designed bumper, should it fit on my standard front panel? This is somethin tht dealers can't help u with.

My car has had a front impact so changing the front end (apart from wings and headlamps). So far I've found a new front panel from an 08/58 reg 2.0TDi, bonnet from a 57 reg and S3 front bumper only. Remember mine is a 53reg 8P. Also the front bumper I've found is without grilles, should a normal grille fit on it or does S3 grills hav different dimensions? Too much I know but I hope u can help.

N8 i agree. But its gta be the 2nd best looking kit for an a3....

Zaibzonline i had to change my bonnet so unless anyone can correct me i wasted my money there! Grilles look to be be the same but i'm not certain.
